California: Notice of Intent to List: Isopyrazam and 3,3′,4,4′-Tetrachloroazobenzene

The California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) intends to list the chemicals isopyrazam (CASRN 881685-58-1) and 3,3′,4,4′ tetrachloroazobenzene (CASRN 14047-09-7) as known to the State to cause cancer under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. These actions are being proposed under the authoritative bodies listing mechanism.

California: Proposed Specific Regulatory Levels: Chloroform

The Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has proposed the adoption of a Proposition 65 Maximum Allowable Dose Level (MADL) of 660 micrograms per day for inhalation exposures to Chloroform (CASRN 67-66-3) by amending Section 25805(b). Chloroform is listed on Prop 65 as a chemical causing reproductive toxicity.

US EPA Announces Initial 7 Chemicals for Risk Assessment - 2012

In early 2012, the Environmental Protection Agency released two documents intended to describe the intial set of chemicals - or "Work Plan Chemicals" - that will be assessed and evaluated in regards to risk management. Although only seven chemicals were listed for review in 2012, a total of 83 chemicals have been targeted for future consideration.
